Who sends these messages

These text messages are sent by InkEthos LLC (1737 W Sallie Lane, Anaheim, CA 92804). InkEthos is the booking, scheduling, and client messaging software used by tattoo artists and studios. When you book with an artist who uses InkEthos, we text you about your booking with that artist: new-message alerts, booking confirmations, reminders, and consent-form and payment requests. Our program is called InkEthos Appointment & Message Notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we never text people who have not asked us to. About InkEthos

How to opt in

Providing your phone number by itself does not sign you up. There are exactly two ways to start receiving texts from InkEthos:

• Check the SMS box on the booking form. On the booking form, next to the phone number field, there is a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default and entirely optional. It reads:“Text me appointment updates (optional). By checking this box you agree to receive appointment and message notification texts from InkEthos about your booking with this studio (new-message alerts, confirmations, reminders). Consent is not a condition of booking. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.”
• Text us first. If you send a text to the InkEthos number, we may reply by text about your booking or your conversation with your artist.

One-time sign-in codes are sent only when you request one on our sign-in page.

Consenting to text messages is not a condition of booking an appointment, of any purchase, or of any service. You can leave the box unchecked and still book; your artist will reach you by email or phone call instead.

What we send

• New-message alerts when your artist sends you a message, with a secure link to view and reply.
• Appointment confirmations when your booking is scheduled.
• Appointment reminders before your session.
• Consent-form requests and payment requests for your appointment.
• One-time sign-in codes, only when you request one.

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and your conversation with your artist. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out or get help

• Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and we will not text you again. You can still view and reply to your artist’s messages through your secure chat link.

Your privacy
